Gan (Dhivehi: ????) is a part of the Republic of the Maldives.

It was formerly the site of a staging post of the Royal Air Force, RAF Gan populated only by male RAF personnel. It is also used as a stop off point on the way to Singapore .

The airline, Air Equator, is based in Gan and operates services to the other main islands in the Maldives. As of 2005 the runway strip on Gan island is being upgraded to an international airport to cater for the growing tourism industry in the south of Maldives. Gan Island has a hotel catering for tourists.
